Mark Def...I first heard dude on a lil snippet video back in the day off of his "HomeWork" mixtape. I thought he was dope just from that video alone due to the concept of the video (doing his homework on hip-hop), where he spits about what went on during the different eras of the game. But the track that really made me a Marky fan was "Thug Passion", where he sampled the old backyard Band track from Their "Skillet" CD (thats go-go music for the ones who don't know...that DC sound). If this is your first time ever hearing about Marky, then I suggest you download his "Nothing is 43ver" mini album, joint is TOO dope. He's not afraid to switch up the flow, nor the subject matter, and he's nice with his lyrical game play. After you listen to "Nothing is 43ver", pickup the "Journey to Markyland, USA Reststop" EP series (1-3). being on Studio 43, His status rose in this game quick, but with success comes haters, but it ain't nothing because "Hate is the new Love."
